Bateaux Mouches

We ended our Museum day with the late dinner cruise on Marina de Paris. Bateaux Mouches is a generic term for these boats that cruise the Seine. Though there is a company Bateaux Mouches, our dinner cruise was through Marina de Paris.

We had window seats on the boat, which was completely covered in glass. It was a good thing as this has been our only rain so far. The day was beautiful, but we awoke from our naps to rain. It was great to be in a covered boat.

Nora will detail the food, but a few comments here. It was good, but certainly not the best we have eaten. The real treat was the views of Paris as the sky darkened and the lights came up.

I particularly enjoyed watching the couples, friends, groups of young people enjoying wine cheese baguettes and conversation or music along the banks of the Seine.
